The SNP Street reconstructed in Liptovský Hrádok

The repairs of pavements and related work on the SNP Street, the city’s main artery, commenced in Liptovský Hrádok, its Lord Mayor Branislav Tréger confirmed. “The pavements will be made of interlocking paving on both sides of the street, and we will add lighting on the southern side, where it was missing,” he said. Pedestrian crossings will be also illuminated using special technology. “It is an important project to improve the layout of this busy location in the city centre,” Tréger added. Pavol Devečka, the head of the Department of the Environment, Construction and Transport, added that the reconstruction work would last about a month.
