Bárta´s transport concept counts with PPP
Two new parts of Prague ring-road will be built with the assistance of private funds, there will be alterations in the D1 motorway Mirošovice-Kývalka section and new D3 road section Veselí nad Lužnicí-Třebonín and Opatovice-Mohelnice section of R35. This is expressed in the Ministry of Transport strategic material, so-called superconcept, which deals with transport development until the year 2025.
Of the projects, financed in the standard manner, the D3 near Tábor and D6 expressway between Karlovy Vary and Cheb sections have priority for completion. Transport Ministry also plans D1 motorway completion from Bohumín to the Polish border.
The department promises from the PPP projects, the inflow of funds for planned transport construction. The Transport Ministry has not disclosed the specific funds for the individual sections. Within the projects co-financed by the private sector, the first part of Prague ring-road in Běchovice will be completed the earliest, before 2016. A year later D3 motorway section near Veselí nad Lužnicí will be completed, connecting the capital with Austria and modification of the motorway to Brno. By 2025 the state does not allow for construction of R55 expressway along the Morava river, continuation of R35 from Hradec Králové to Liberec and connection Brno to this road.
The ministry is now waiting for comments, which it intends to incorporate into the draft before the material will be discussed in interdepartmental proceedings.
