Finnish property developer YIT planning expansion in Czech housing market

Finnish property development company YIT is preparing expansion in the Czech market. During this year, they want to start construction of a total of 240 flats in five locations in Prague. The upcoming projects are located in Háje, Košíře, Hostivař and Strašnice. They are already building 28 flats in Hostivař. Because of business expansion plans, the property developer hired new project manager, Jan Chudoba.

The firm wants to become one of the five biggest players in the Czech market. Among the largest builders of new flats in the Czech market at present are companies Central Group, Finep, Ekospol and Skanska. YIT has been operating in the Czech Republic since 2008. It provides services in construction, real estate development projects and building management.
