CTP intends to expand CTPark Bor
German logistics company Loxxess will more than double its production premises in the industrial zone CTPark in Bor near Tachov. In November the company will hire further 70 people in addition to the current 160. According to Miroslav Přibyl, a representative of the property developer CTP, which leases the halls, Loxxess is now the largest employer in the industrial zone in Bor – the second largest one in the Pilsen Region after Borská pole in Pilsen. “A total of 700 people work here for ten companies. Of the total 250,000 sqm almost everything is filled, only the last 6,000 sqm remain,” he added.
CTPark Bor, industrial zone near the border and D5 motorway, has been in operation for four years. Ten companies operate in six giant halls. The industrial park is focused in vast majority on logistics. Next year CTP wants to expand one hall in Bor by about 16,000 sqm and has building permission for another hall with an area of 36,000 sqm. “No decision has been made on its construction. However, it is possible that it will take place already next year,” Mr Přibyl added. CTP is the leading developer of commercial real estate in the country. It owns a network of 36 CTParks in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Poland. The total area operated by CTP is 1.65 million sqm, the expected rental income for this year is around CZK 2.6 billion.
