Penta buying Clar System
Czech-Slovak investment group Penta is acquiring the Polish firm Clar System focusing on property management and maintenance. Polish antimonopoly authority is now verifying the transaction. Clar System, based in Poznan, provides facility management to companies all over Poland. Penta bought AB Facility in 2010 which, with sales of over one billion crowns, is one of the leading companies specializing in property management. Penta´s plan is to build a strong Central European property management and maintenance company. “The aim of Penta is internal consolidation of the existing holding company, new acquisitions and consolidation of facility management market in Central Europe,” Zdeněk Kubát, former representative of Penta said in December 2010 after purchasing AB Facility.
Penta is a Central European investment group founded in 1994. It invests primarily in retail, healthcare, aerospace, engineering, energetics, entertainment and banking. Most Penta´s projects have taken place in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.
