Billionaire Radovan Vítek has gained full control of the Cypriot firm Gandolf Consultancy Limited, the majority shareholder of the domestic investment and real estate company Czech Property Investments (CPI). He paid the British investors Henry Charbit and Charles Joory who controlled half of the company. Zdeněk Havelka, CEO at CPI, said this to the Czech News Agency and he thus confirmed information brought by the server Motejlek.com. Havelka hasn´t disclosed the value of the transaction.

The portfolio value of the group is around CZK 24 bill. According to the company spokesperson Michaela Winklerová, this amount does not include property newly purchased by the company this autumn. The group owns around 10,300 flats, which they rent out, in the CR. It is the second largest owner of flats in the Czech Republic, after RPG Byty owned by the financier Zdeněk Bakala.

This year, CPI is one of the most active investors in commercial property in the Czech market. They have spent three billion crowns on new acquisitions this year so far. Today they announced purchase of the office centre Longin Business Center in the centre of Prague for 724 million crowns.
