Austrian company OCL Holding plans to build a new multi-purpose centre near the Střížkov underground stop in Prague 9. It will consist mainly of offices and shops. The Czech News Agency learnt it today from documents submitted by the company for Environmental Impact Assessment. The office buildings will have gross floor area of around 60,000 sqm, the shopping centre 6,000 sqm. The construction is planned to start ideally in March 2012. The developer wants to decide on further steps after receiving valid zoning permission. The main role in the decision will be securing of financing. The firm estimates that actual construction will take three years.

The Austrian constructor chose the location in the north of Prague, it is in the viewfinder of other developers too. The domestic company Finep plans construction of new office buildings at Střížkov. Hochtief Development is preparing an extensive office complex in Letňany. There are already three administration building by J&T Real Estate at Prosek. The same property developer is preparing another multi-purpose centre Prosek Court there.
