The company JF Hamilton Real Estate Group has bought former headquarters of the bankrupt glass manufacturing group Crystalex Trading in Štěpánská street in Prague as well as four buildings from Komerční banka. It was announced by the consultancy Knight Frank. The investor paid around CZK 75 million for the building in Štěpánská street. JF Hamilton´s company seat is also at this address. Knight Frank haven´t dislosed the price of the Komerční banka buildings. They only said that they are office buildings in Prague 7, 8 and 9 the fourth building is located in Písek. JF Hamilton is planning to invest in the purchased buildings.
Hamilton has been active in CEE since 1996, but originally they operated under the brand Domus. At the end of 2010, the group claims to have been managing around 100,000 sqm of residential, commercial and office buildings and approximately 20 development projects. The group is backed by an undisclosed French family.
