Construction company Skanska wants to start construction of an eco-efficient office building in Prague´s suburb of Holešovice near the Bubny railway station next autumn. The new building will arise on the premises of a former of used-car dealer surrounded by unused land and should serve as a commercial centre too. Documents submitted to assess the impact of construction on the environment (EIA) show this. Office building with a total gross floor area of 24,900 sqm will be built on the land totalling 1.5 hectares. It is designed to have seven floors and three underground floors used as garages, storage facilities and technological premises. The project is based on the architectural design and planning by Cigler Marani Architects, it is expected to be completed in the summer of 2014.
