Property prices in the Czech Republic will stagnate this year, however, prices of flats in older prefabricated buildings may fall. In addition, offer of real estate will continue to exceed demand this year, this is clear from a study published today [i.e. 9th Feb] by consulting firm Deloitte. Prices of building plots might grow slightly according to Deloitte. However, investment in commercial rental housing represents a long-term stable and secure income, the study says. “Residential market has support mainly in the current promising mortgage market development, falling prices of construction work and materials as well as search for new concepts,“ said Filip Endal, real estate manager at Deloitte.
