Bratislava: The zone in Vajnory, worth EUR 863 million, is currently assessed by competent authorities

The project of construction of a new residential zone in Bratislava’s district of Vajnory, planned by Circle Slovakia, s.r.o., is currently being assessed for environmental impacts. The investor wants to invest more than EUR 863 million into its construction. The area of the former Vajnory airport should offer more than 6,000 new jobs. The company wants to start the construction activities on an area larger than 878,000 square metres in 2011 and plans its completion in 2022. In option 1, the investor proposes construction of family and apartment houses on an area of 959,000 square metres, in option 2 on an area of more than 792,000 square metres. The new residential zone should have over 20,000 inhabitants after completion.
