The mood in the Slovak economy continues to improve

The mood in the Slovak economy continues to improve. According to the current survey of the Statistical Office of SR (SU) namely the indicator of economic sentiment rose again by 2.6 points to 70.2 points in July. In the semi-year comparison, however, the mood in the Slovak economy is still decreasing; the indicator of economic sentiment was lower by 26.3 points and compared with the long-term average lower by 30.2 points. The confidence indicator in construction industry fell by 0.5 points to minus 52.5 points compared to June and is 31.5 points below the long-term average. The development was mainly influenced by the demand for construction output reducing.
