The deadline of Bratislava Metropolis construction is unrealistic
The scheduled date of the first phase of Metropolis construction, the entertainment and leisure centre in Bratislava, is, according to the deputy mayor Tomáš Korček, unrealistic. The investor in a recent presentation of the project, which should also offer games and gambling, mentioned the end of 2010. Eventual construction is subject to change of the existing city plan. At the same time it needs an urban plan study that deputies should take note. Metropolis should grow on the 30-hectare land between Petržalka and Jarovce, at the junction of highways D2 and D4. Within it is calculated with casinos, hotels, congress centres, golf or Aqua Park. The investment is estimated for 1.5 billions Euro.
