Zvolen obtained money from Euro funds for another school repair
Short time after, when the town Zvolen succeeded in the application on the grant from Euro funds for the Elementary school Janka Alexyho reconstruction, it obtained the grant for the Elementary school Martina Rázusa reconstruction on the Zlatý potok housing development, i.e. above 1.384 millions Euro. This amount creates 95% of valid costs, the rest is obligatory co-financing by the applicant, and it means the town. As the Juliana Ištóková, the chief of the town development of the municipal office at Zvolen, informed, they will warm the building of the school, change windows and all lights, reconstruct sanitary facilities, which are in an emergency state, and also buy new desks and chairs to classes, furniture to cabinets and means for professional training involving computers. „Currently we are waiting for the acceptance letter from MVRR SR, for the agreement on non-refundable subsidy completion a then we will call for tender for a contractor,“ Ištóková informed. She supplemented, that assumed costs for the Elementary school M. Rázusa reconstruction are above 1.649 millions Euro, when there is besides valid costs also reconstruction of an official apartment in the school building involved, which the town is to pay fully from its budget.
