Performance of construction industry dropped by 7.9 % in February
Construction companies [in Slovakia] reached the volume of work worth EUR 268.5 million in the second month this year. For the first two months of this year, construction output fell by 4.6 % to EUR 527 million. According to UniCredit Bank analyst David Dereník, the fall of the construction production in February means that we have reached a new bottom of the industry since the beginning of the crisis and a minimum level in at least 5 years.
