The biggest snow park is going to be open in Slovakia

The biggest snow park was open officially at the Jasná ski centre at the Low Tatra on Saturday. It is situated in the Jelení grúň locality above the part of Záhradky centre. It is 1 300 metres long and is built-up modern. „The biggest dominant are jumps, there are six of them there in distances one by one. Their building was severe and required experiences and a huge volume of artificial snow as well. The jumps are of medium style, their shape and size is changing during season. Platforms for jumps are incredibly wide for Slovakian conditions and falls are fairly scarped and long enough, “ Katarína Tomanová from Jasná, told.

Snowboarders can also find funny jibs and other iron barriers here, removed from Otupné. Forasmuch as Jelení grúň fulfilled the best overall criteria for quality snow park by its terrain parameters, therefore the artificial snowing was built-up there in summer 2008. The park area and barriers inside it are intended not only for snowboarders, but also for skiers.
