The industrial park at Hurbanovo is to be enlarged by six hectares
The industrial park will enlarge the town Hurbanovo by 6 hectares in the second half-year 2009 approximately, its major, Margita Zemková, told. Two companies with 320 employees have operational units in the area of 9 ha in the municipal district Bohatá, this year the town ought to enlarge the park by Companies HIT design, s.r.o. and SolarLand2, s.r.o. where 100 people would find employment till year 2013. As Zemková supplemented, both companies would like to invest there up to 3 mills Euro. “The town got 398 thousand Euro for building engineering networks in the park through the Slovak Agency for Development of Investments and Trade, it ought to participate in the project by the amount of 266 thousand Euro, Zemková informed.
Besides the industrial park the biggest company Heineken Slovensko, a.s. has its operational unit for bear manufacturing at Hurbanovo, which employees about 400 people; other working places are offering smaller operational units of local entrepreneurs. Hurbanovo has about 8 000 inhabitants. The town would decrease its 8-percentage unemployment by creating the new job positions.
