Slovakia is the 44th most expensive locality all over the world in renting offices

Last year SR was the 44th most expensive locality all over the world from the prices for renting office spaces point of view, what presented the drop by 5 crossbars on the entire ladder compared with previous year. It results from the study „The most expensive offices all over the world“, issued by Cushman & Wakefield Company every year and where it compares costs for renting in 202 main localities of 57 world countries. The highest were in Bratislava, where a tenant paid 304 euro a year for one m2. The average rent decreased by 6.7% in Bratislava compared with previous year. „Slovakia in general still remains among cheep localities concerning office spaces, especially in the Central and Eastern Europe, where Warsaw, Prague and Budapest as well offer disproportionately more expensive rents,“ Andrew Thompson, the executive director of Cushman & Wakefield Bratislava office, noted. As he added, it could profit from this situation in future under conditions, that besides cheep rents it will also offer qualified labour force and the government support, which will attract investors.
