The government approved 71 million for insulation

The government approved an additional allocation of 71 mills Euro to the family and flat houses insulation at the Wednesday meeting. The revised program submitted by the minister of construction Igor Štefanov calculated with dividing the funds for the provision of interest-free loans with 15-year payback to owners of older apartments and charged managers of residential houses for the insulation in the amount of 100% of eligible construction costs. During residential buildings insulation but also in the production of building materials should occur 8 thousand job opportunities at least at the same time.

The program aim is to reduce energy consumption of family and flat houses and thereby costs for households living. It should also contribute to mitigating the economic crisis consequences. The process of providing support is to be simplified so that the request to the Housing Development Fund may apply not only the managers of residential houses, municipalities and owners of apartments, but also owners of family houses.
