ŽSR plans to modernize the stage Trenčianska Teplá - Beluša

Slovak Republic Railways (ŽSR) are preparing the next tender for construction works to modernize the railway line Nové Mesto nad Váhom – Púchov in the length of 58.6 km for the line speed up to 160 km per hour. The upcoming 4th and 5th phase of modernization works is to be carried out on the stages Trenčianska Teplá – Dubnica nad Váhom – Ilava and Ilava – Ladce – Beluša with assumed costs of 293.704 million Euro, VAT excluded. Within these phases the railway station Trenčianska Teplá, Dubnica nad Váhom, Ilava and Ladce are to be also reconstructed. Modernisation of those stages should last 4.5 years and financed from resources of the Cohesion Fund of EU and the state budget through the Operational program Transport.
