Slovakia supported 83 projects by incentives since 2001

From 2001 until the end of May 2009 Slovak governments supported 83 investment projects by the provision of state aid. As it is clear from the list of business entities to which was approved regional aid for the period mentioned, the companies were granted by the incentives in the total volume of 27.135 billion SKK (900.7 million Euro). Most of them the government provided for investment projects implemented in the self-governing region of Košice and Trenčín (á 19). Furthermore the Government of Mikuláš Dzurinda and Robert Fico Cabinet provided aid in Euro in the total volume of 63.4 million Euro. Thanks to these investment projects 33 442 new jobs should be created directly in Slovakia.
