Class 2 and 3 roads in the Trenčín Region to be reconstructed

At the end of June, the Trenčín Autonomous Region (TSK) plans to announce an award procedure for the reconstruction of class 2 and 3 roads by private contractors in 2009. The projected price of the construction work should be EUR 10.739 million, excl. VAT, and the reconstruction should take 12 months as of the date of execution of the contract with the preferred bidder. The road administration of the Trenčín Autonomous Region, which takes care of 349.4km of class 2 roads and 1,139.3km of class 3 roads in the region also announced a tender for the supply of an inert spreading material for road maintenance in winter, at a quantity of 127,500 tons. The estimated price of supply for 3 years is EUYR 1.222 million, excl. VAT.
