Building societies gave 230.1 million Euro for housing during the half-year

Three building societies operating in the domestic market suffered the semi-year decrease in sales during the first half-year of 2009. During this period they supported housing by the amount of 230.1 million Euro, what is the semi-year decrease by over 41%. Disbursements of the First building savings bank declined by 47% to 144.12 million Euro. Wüstenrot building savings bank has paid clients the funds in the amount of 47.85 million Euro; in the first half-year of 2008 it was roughly by 37% more. ČSOB building savings bank supported housing by the amount of 38.13 million Euro, what is the semi-year decrease by 18%.
