Construction of the Petržalka City is postponed to the half of 2010

Construction of the multifunctional centre of Petržalka City in Bratislava is postponed again. Originally was supposed to start in 2008, then at the turn of this year and next year. Currently, neither this term is realistic. „The 1st stage should start in the middle of next year, "said the latest Viera Krúpová from Petržalka City Company. The 400-million Euro project is hampered by, inter alia, the unresolved issue of the carrier system of public mass transport and its coordination with the tram. Whole the new centre should be completed in 2016, initially was argued year 2013.
