Credit options of banks are limited in Slovakia

Current credit options of banks are limited due to deteriorating situation in the corporate sector. Informed about it the Department of Finance and the National Bank in the report on credit options in the Slovakian banking sector for the business sector and for anti-crisis measures of public institutions. In connection with the decrease in investment activity in the corporate sector decreased demand for longer-term loans. Their increasing risk is also confirmed by the upward growth of shares in bad credits at banks (4.5% in June, the May 4%).
