Vráble will stoke biomass; people will save money
Since January Vráble will stoke biomass a part of houses, thereby reducing the price for heating in future up to 5%, about one Euro per GJ. The town won 784 286 Euro for the project, of which 42.5% of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism, 42.5% of the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area and 15% of the national budget. The boiler for wood chips from State Forests Levice with the power of 1.9 MW at the housing estate Lúky will serve approximately 3 500 people. In addition, cuts the vine will be used for heating and there are 120 ha at Vráble and around. Dalkia Vráble, a joint venture of the town and the Dalkia Company, a.s., operating in Slovakia since 1992, operates the project.
