Tesco planning to open 15 new stores in Slovakia this year
The retail chain Tesco, one of the largest private employers in Slovakia, currently operates 81 shops and 16 filling stations in Slovakia, and they plan to expand their network further. According to the new CEO of Tesco Stores SR, John Christie, the company will continue in their investment strategy and they plan to open further 15 shops with nearly 700 new jobs created in Slovakia. A comparison: Tesco opened 11 shops last year and they created 570 new jobs.
