Czech cities heading to Expo Real

The three largest Czech cities – Prague, Brno and Ostrava – are again heading to the commercial property trade fair Expo Real whose 13th year will traditionally take place at the New Exhibition Grounds in Munich between 4th and 6th October. The local regions will also have a strong representation: the Central Bohemia, South Bohemia and Moravia-Silesian regions are going to participate. Cities of Ústí nad Labem and Most will represent the North-Bohemia region.

Last year, 1 580 exhibiting firms from 34 countries had their stands on the total exhibition area of 64,000 sqm. A total of over 35 000 visitors from 73 countries came to the trade fair. The organizers are expecting more or less the same attendance rate also this year. Experts are expecting that despite the difficult situation in many property markets, this year will bring consolidation with a slow stable growth towards a gradual recovery – which is already happening in some local property markets, e.g. in Germany. The key issues to be discussed will be, besides the economic trends, also sustainable development, revitalization of areas with real estate potential and modernization of existing properties and setting up of procedures towards higher effectiveness.
