CPI: new acquisitions in Slovakia
Investment activites of CPI Group have been transferred to Slovakia in these days. The local network of retail units with Hypernova hypermarket have been expanded by two TESCO stores in Čadca and Trebišov which CPI Group bought from the Slovak property development company ISTROFINAL. The total value of both transactions amounts to CZK 450 million.
CPI Group owns seven hypermarkets in Slovakia, which they rent out to the food chain Ahold. The existing Hypernova stores were enlarged by new commercial area in Čadca with sales area of 5,700 sqm, including TESCO hypermarket, small retail units and services and parking for more than 200 cars. Additional 5,200 sqm of sales areas is the hypermarket TESCO in Trebišov with more retail units and underground parking for 270 cars.
