Bratislava: Construction of Panorama City will probably start next year

J&T Real Estate will probably launch the construction of Panorama City project in Bratislava already next year. “We are very confident about Panorama, and I hope we will launch its construction already next year,” said Pavel Pelikán, CEO of J&T Real Estate, for the Internet magazine Stavebné fórum.sk at Tuesday´s conference Real Estate Market> Slovakia 2012. J&T Real Estate wants to start pre-selling the 600 planned flats.

Project completion is expected within 4 to 5 years, as Mr Pelikán confirmed. Panorama City´s height should not exceed 100 metres. “This is the kind of project, which will find its place in the market in the right time mainly because it will offer people everything they need as one of the few places in the city centre near the Danube river,” Mr Pelikán added.

J&T Real Estate presented the project of the Panorama City multifunctional centre near the new Slovak National Theatre in late 2007. Two towers were supposed to reach the height of about 150 m, according to original plans. There was supposed to be a square with restaurants, shops and a four-star hotel. The situation in the market, however, changed the original plans so the project should mainly focus on housing for the middle class, while the neighbouring shopping centre Eurovea should cover the demand for shops.
