The building-up of the logistics centre is suspended due to the crisis
The building-up of the logistics centre for needs of firms in the park Nitra – North is suspended due to the economic crisis, told Ondrej Ščurka, the business agent of Nitra Invest Company, which owns the parcels in the park and which planned the project. Initially the building-up ought to begin in autumn 2008. „We have the building permission issued, but momentary situation braked us a bit, probably it is still time to build-up logistics, but it is not for anybody,“ Ščurka told. As he added, at the end of this year or at the beginning of next year it could be clearer, how the situation will develop. The logistics centre ought to stay on 10–15 ha according to the investment program. It should serve like a storage centre for the distribution of final products of firms in the park, together with conveying components needed for their production here.
