The wind park at about 80 million € should be built near Šaľa

The new wind park with 23 power plants and the total installed capacity from 60 to 63 MW should grow in the Šaľa district, which plans to build SWP company in the cadastre of Žihárec village for about 80 million €. Wind power plants should produce from 98 to119 GWh electricity annually, depending on what option the investor will choose. The Ministry of Environment of Slovakia issued a final opinion on the project, which recommended its implementation under condition of fulfilment of more than 30 conditions. Investors, members of the Association of Wind Energy in Slovakia, plan to build about 290 wind turbines with the total installed capacity of 670 MW in Slovakia.
