Because of PPP projects the law on public procurement should be changed

Banks as potential participants in the consortium will involve in PPP projects only when the time limit elapse allowing the proposal application to determine invalidity of a concession contract to a court according to Transport Minister Ľ. Vážny. It should be shortened from 1 year to 30 days. It appears from the draft amendment on the Public Procurement Act, approved by the Government. As the Minister said the year period allowing a contest of a concession contract would significantly delay PPP projects. Such legislation amendment is normal in EU countries according to him. As he added, in Ireland and Denmark is the 10-day period and in France, Great Britain and Belgium 14-day one.
