The association with Doprastav will build-up D1 Jablonov - Studenec
Over the five-kilometre motorway stage D1 Jablonov – Studenec will be build-up by the association led by Doprastav, a.s. Bratislava at the price of 48.949 millions Euro, VAT excluded. The price also includes elaboration of the design documentation for the concerned construction. The construction of the stage is to be co-financed by the EU through the Cohesion Fund as well as from the state budget and from resources of the investor. The National Highway Company (NDS) investor, Engineering Buildings, a.s. Košice and Váhostav-SK, a.s. Žilina are also members of the association.
The construction of the D1 Jablonov – Studenec stage launched officially on April 17, 2009 and should be finished till June 2010. This is the last stage of the D1 between Bratislava and Prešov under construction. Till now not being constructed stages of D1 will be built from private money through projects of public-private partnership (PPP). In contrast to the stage Studenec – Behárovce, which began be building in early April, the stage Jablonov – Studenec will be only in a half profile. The D1 stage Jablonov – Studenec should be built-up within two and half years according to the terms of the tender.
