Bratislava: the locality of the future forest-park Draždiak began to clean

The city of Bratislava began cleaning the locality in Petržalka, where will arise the new urban forest-park Draždiak in future. From 62-hectare of the raw land contaminated by dumping sites it wants to build a park for recreation and sport. In the woods should be embedded new benches, lighting, to build natural sport grounds or playgrounds. From building the new park it is expected to change the environment to enable secure and cultural recreation in the built-up land of the city. At present the land use people for walking, recreational cyclists and runners. The city budget earmarked approximately 4.3 million Euro for the forest-park Draždiak till 2010.
