Petržalka will revitalize Ovsišťské Square
Bratislava Petržalka plans to revitalize Ovsišťské Square. It will use EU funds to regenerate this frequent public space. According to the speaker of the municipal district, Ľubomír Andrassy, the local office worked out the project plan of the square renewal, which will apply for financial means within the frame of the Operational program Bratislava region in the amount of 108 thousand €. The self-administration will co-finance the program on the level of 5% of the total costs, what will load the Petržalka public budget by the amount of 5 360 €. The project is based on humanization of the locality. It will keep existing green vegetation to maximal extend, will plane terrain undulations and counts on pavements made of interlocking pavers and embedding small architectural items.
