Ikea and the mayor of Košice discussed the memorandum on the investment preparation
Representatives of Ikea and the mayor of Košice František Knapík discussed the common memorandum on the investment plan preparation. As the spokeswoman of the municipality L. Mihoková, told, both parties apprehend this document as an expression of common interest in the implementation of the project of supra-regional nature – the1st stage of the commercial-social and leisure centre on the area of almost 80 ha in the Ťahanovce – Magnezitárska locality. The mayor considers for the most important that in connection with the project Inter Ikea Centre Slovakia s.r.o. the industrial and contaminated zone will be uses and integrated into the life of the city. Within the preparation the area will be decontaminated, revitalized and the old environmental burdens removed.
