The state will undertake for the construction of D1 motorway by means of PPP
The state should undertake for the construction of D1 motorway by means of PPP projects. Ministry of Finance of SR has prepared amendments of relevant laws, which, given the current financial crisis, will allow providing the concessionaire a state guarantee for a loan of 1 billion Euro from the European Investment Bank. The concession contract for the 1st package of PPP projects has been signed between the Ministry of Transport and Slovak Highways Company, a. s. Bratislava. It was established by the international consortium led by French company Bouygues Travaux Publics SA. The members of the consortium, which in the tender to acquire 30-year concession proposed the offer of 3.3 billion Euro, are also such companies as Doprastav Bratislava and Váhostav-SK Žilina.
