Bratislava: Penta continuing in the Digital Park project
The Central-European investment group Penta is continuing in the construction of the successful Bratislava administration project Digital Park. They will start construction of its third stage in the first quarter of next year. The amount of total planned investment is 42 million EUR. The third phase of Digital Park is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2012 and it will bring 20,780 sqm of administration leasable area and 290 sqm of commercial area to the Bratislava market.
“Digital Park is the most successful development project by Penta so far and therefore we are continuing with its next, third phase. Based on market trends, reactions and preferences of tenants, we have decided to continue with the current horizontal approach; two new buildings will be added to the four existing interconnected buildings,“ said Jozef Oravkin, partner at Penta Investments.
Digital Park phases I and II brought a total of 52 thousand sqm of administration space to the Bratislava market. Digital Park I is currently hundred percent occupied. There are only two percent of the total leasable area unoccupied in Digital Park II, which was approved for use in May 2009.
