Bratislava: Kempinski hotel for EUR 70 mill. opened

Kempinski Hotel River Park was opened in Bratislava on the Danube river embankment nearby River Park complex. It has 231 luxuriously furnished rooms and suites on 11 floors. “It is the most expensive hotel building in Slovakia, the total investment was more than EUR 70 million,“ said Peter Korbačka, head of the board of directors at J&T Real Estate. The hotel took 7 years to complete, 4 years took actual construction. The prospective owner should be the company Best Hotel Properties. General Manager of the hotel Konstantin Zeuke believes that the city now has a hotel which meets the requirements of the most discerning customers who had previously preferred Vienna or Budapest. “Bratislava remains a little explored tourist destination for visitors. Our new hotel will not only expand Kempinski hotel group´s portfolio, it will also increase the strength of the company in Eastern Europe by providing new destinations for all visitors,“ said Zeuke.
