Last year the Slovak Republic was ranked as the 44th most expensive country in renting industrial premises

Last year Slovakia was ranked as the 44th most expensive locality from the view of renting costs of industrial premises. In 2007, Slovakia ranked as the 47th in the ladder set up by the property counselling company Cushman & Wakefield in the published study „The Most Expensive Industrial Areas World-Wide“. The total height of costs related to rent reached the amount of 47 Euros/1m² per year In the most expensive Bratislava district. For the 8th time, the most expensive industrial locality became London Heathrow, where the total annual costs related to rent climbed to 185 Euros per square meter. Tokyo and Dublin follows with 179.48 Euros and 157.5 Euros, respectively. “During last 10 years, the Central European region has been more active than its older European neighbours due to development of new industrial premises. This activity was caused particularly by shift of production and distribution from West to East,” said Ferdinand Hlobil, head of the C&W Central European Industrial Team.
