Senec: IPEC Group started construction of outlet centre
IPEC Group has started construction of an outlet centre (sale of out-of-season goods withdrawn from shops) costing EUR 35 mill. Thanks to this investment, there will be 300 new jobs. The first tenants should occupy the premises in autumn 2011. “Next year´s Christmas shopping of discounted brand goods will already be under our management,“ said Ivan Čarnogurský, director of IPEC Group.
Senec Fashion Outlet will cover the area of 15 hectares near the D1 motorway. The centre of retail shops will provide potential customers with 25 thousand sqm. Commercial premises with an area of about 8.5 thousand sqm focused on Italian fashion will be built in the first phase of construction. There will also be a relaxation area, restaurants and other services.
