Košice deputies have approved the plan on the Na Kope building–up for 15 000 people

Hectic discussion among Košice municipal deputies evoked the proposal on changes and amendments of the city planning-scheme of Myslava, the Na Kope – Girbeš locality, where ought to live about 15 000 people after the building–up of flats and public facilities is finished. Negative reactions sounded mainly from the municipal deputies from the municipal district KVP, because the proposal counts in with an interconnection of the new zone with two communications in the town district and there is a threat, that it will increase the traffic load of the KVP excessively. The municipal office of the KVP district did not approve the change of the town-planning scheme therefore. The proposal does not count in with the building-up of the third communication namely, which would connect the zone with the Myslava municipal district. The city architect of Košice, Martin Drahovský, argued, that the change of the town-planning scheme has already been approved by the Regional Building Office Košice and the town district Myslava and it would not be reasonable to stop development in this locality. The municipal deputies approved the change of the town-planning scheme at the end.
