The Nitra region will repair 23 roads and 3 bridges this year
The Nitra self-administration region plans construction works on 20 roads, reconstruction of 3 roads and 3 bridges this year. Capital expenditures will achieve 11.6 millions Euro. The county will use 11.8 millions Euro from the current expenditure budget for maintenance and repair of the 2nd and the 3rd – class roads. The order on communications to be repaired was determined based on the analysis, which followed their permeability, importance and status. From Euro funds the region will finance 3 reconstructions: the 3rd – class road Čierne Kľačany – Volkovce, the 2nd class road Veľké Ripňany – Horné Štitáre and the 3rd class road Jacovce – Prašice. The total costs are 3.7 millions Euro. „Investment actions must be first implemented from the budget of the region and consequently the costs will be reimbursed from the funds,“ told Stanislav Katrinec, the spokesman of the Nitra main officer. 3 bridges are also waiting for reconstruction – across the Hron River in Želiezovce, over the Kamenec Brook in Preseľany nad Ipľom and the bridge on the road Kamenica nad Hronom – Bajtava.
