Ben Maudling appointed as executive director of Aston REIM
Ben Maudling has been appointed as Executive Director of Aston REIM – a partnership of Aston Management and Palmer Capital. Ben is a member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and has more than twenty years of experience in real estate in Great Britain, Germany as well as Central and Eastern Europe. Since coming to the Czech Republic in 1992, he has gained extensive experience in the field of European commercial and residential real estate markets, including fund management and property management, property development, investment, rent brokering and real estate valuation.
He entered the Czech market through one of the most successful real estate agencies in Prague. He founded his own real estate agency in 1995 which he subsequently sold to CBRE in 1999. In 2004 he founded and managed the real estate division for Central and Eastern Europe at INVESCO Real Estate, he also became a member of its European executive board and European investment board. During his time at INVESCO Real Estate, the company made real estate purchases with a value exceeding EUR 250 mill. in Central Europe and it managed a portfolio valued at more than EUR 400 mill. Ben Maudling is married and has two children. He speaks German, Czech and English. His hobbies include skiing and playing golf.
