Iain Child new partner at Penta
Iain Child will become a new partner of the Central-European investment group Penta from December 2010. He will increase the current number of 5 partners – Marek Dospiva, Jaroslav Haščák, Martin Kúšik, Jozef Oravkin and Jozef Špirko. “Opening the partner structure is consistent with Penta´s strategy to become one of major investment groups in the region,“ said J. Haščák. Iain Child will focus on finance in Bratislava and investment in the banking sector within the region.
Penta, a Central-European investment group, founded in 1994, manages a single private equity fund owned by its 5 partners. They started to invest in real estate development in 2005 and are currently working on 11 projects. Their focus is administration and retail sectors as well as preparation of sites for new projects. Penta operates in more than 10 European countries, it has offices in Bratislava, Prague, Warsaw, Limassol and Amsterdam.
