Colliers has new directors - O. Sattar and C. Sheils

Czech branch of the international real estate consultancy Colliers International will have a new executive director from April 2011. Omar Sattar will succeed Karel Stránský after two years in the position, who moves to the newly-created post of regional director of industrial and logistics property sector for Central and Eastern Europe. Mr Stránský, who managed to restructure the company in two years and get it out of red numbers, thus returns to his original branch of industrial warehouses and logistics centres. Omar Sattar joins from the originally Irish investment and property development company Avestus Real Estate (previously Quinlan Private Golub). He was responsible for (among others) urbanization and development of large development areas, e.g. 32 hectares of Jižní Město in Bratislava or a system of plots in the vicinity of the Balaton Lake in Hungary. Omar Sattar previously worked at the consultancy DTZ Czech Republic, he also held the positon of the director of Prague´s Orco Property Group.

Another addition to Colliers International Czech team is the new director of investment department. Christopher Sheils will hold this position from April 2011. Chris Sheils joins Colliers from Prague office of the rival consultancy Knight Frank, where he was the head of real estate investment and property valuation department for over two years.
