Filadelfie building has BREEAM In Use

Office Building Filadelfie, which is a part of the BB Centrum in Prague, obtained the British BREEAM In Use Certificate (BIU) where it was classified as “good”. Certification for the owner – Passerinvest Group – was provided by EC Harris. The methodology comes from Great Britain and includes an assessment of resource consumption, waste and energy, environmental burden, impact on flora and fauna and human living conditions. Priority of the rating is energy consumption and related air protection. “The certificate guaranteeing environmentally friendly buildings is slowly becoming commonplace. It is not only required by a trend or a professional community, but increasingly by tenants themselves,” says Jaroslav Spozdil from Passerinvest Group. To date there are only five buildings in the Czech Republic with Certificate BIU (four office buildings and one hotel). Only one office building (Zlatý Anděl centre) has the same “good” classification as Filadelfie building. Others were classified worse in one of the areas.
