The proceeding on the replacement of the parcel under Bratislava PKO is postponed

Yesterday it was not being decided about future of the Park of Culture and Rest (Park kultúry a oddychu – PKO) in Bratislava. Initially the city major, Andrej Ďurkovský, ought to speak about possibility to purchase parcels under the PKO with activists and the owner – the investment company Henbury Development, s.r.o. However, it informed that it would not participate in the three-parties proceeding. The major accepted this decision and he ought to agree about the term of two-party proceeding with the investor. The parcels involving the area of 29 400 m2 at the price of almost 9.33 mills € were sold by the city deputies in summer 2005. The investor should have paid almost 4.98 mills €, the rest it ought to pay by the building-up of promenade on adjacent city parcels. After the March meeting with civil activists the city declared interest in to redeem them. However, the investor offered the parcels by the price of 24.7 mills €, what is the price taking other costs relating to application of owner rights into consideration, by the investor. „I can tell by one breath that the amount like it was assumed is unacceptable for me, “Ďurkovský notified.
