Airport company Žilina plans to invest 71 million euro
The airport company Žilina, a.s. plans to invest almost 71 million euro into a new runway system at the airport Žilina-Dolný Hričov. The investor would like to start with construction works already this year and plans, that complex should be ready in 2011. “Main point of construction completing is to enable access to this region to entrepreneur and tourist clientele from abroad that presently undergoes quite excessive economic development,“ stresses investor the need of project realization in his business plan. Žilina airport can accept aircrafts with 50 persons capacity. Maximum hourly capacity during the peak operation is 100 passengers. Presently the airport provides regular flights to Prague and back through Czech airlines ČSA.
